Additional vacuum diagrams can be found in my Under Hood Vacuum Label Collection here. |
There are lots of vacuum diagrams in various Volvo service manuals that I don't have, especially for 700-900 models. If you have any diagrams not seen here, please consider sending me some pics. CONTACT |

240 B21FT Distributor and Canister Vacuum. From TP30727 page 15. Port A shown on throttle body is toward the back of the engine. Port B is the front port. ![]() | 240 B21FT Engine Vacuum Label. It should be noted that this under hood vacuum label shows a DIFFERENT throttle body port routing for the distributor diaphragm than the diagram to the LEFT. The diagram at LEFT shows PORT A toward the back of the engine. This label below shows PORT B there. It is believed THIS label is incorrect. This would mean ALL under hood 240 Turbo vacuum labels are technically wrong. ![]() This issue is discussed in more detail in my Ignition Page in the Ported Versus Manifold Vacuum Section. Your comments are welcome. |
240 B21FT manifold Version 2. Plus Canister. (note that the throttle body port is technically incorrect for a B21FT). ![]() | 240 B21ET 1984-85 EGR![]() |
